Milton. I'm just purely guessing that once your car starts the fuel pump is unable to supply enough fuel to keep it running. This forum has numerous reports of pumps going south after not being used for a long time. Ideally you would test this by attaching a fuel pump gauge and watch the fuel pressure as it starts and then dies.

As the cambelt had to come off to do so I also replaced the pulley and tensioner as well as the cambelt. This was all replaced and locked/timed throughout as per autodata.
